Livestock Judging is designed to help students improve their livestock judging skills.

Livestock Judging is comprised of five classes:

• mixed market steers

• crossbred market barrows

• Shorthorn heifers

• crossbred market lambs

• Yorkshire breeding gilts

The official class placings and cuts are provided by Clay Elliot, instructor of animal science and livestock judging coach at Texas Tech University.
